The well-known London restaurant chain, Thai Square, have enrolled employees on K College's (formerly West Kent College) Professional Cookery and Customer Service NVQ’s in 14 of their restaurants. The students are pleased they are learning skills and techniques for the future and have built strong relationships with their teachers
Chaivisuth Pornanant (Thai Square, Trafalgar Square) remarked:
I feel I am getting more knowledge from what I am studying and an amazing teacher who has given me loads of things I can use in the future.
The staff are delighted to receive funding through Train to Gain and are very happy with what they have learnt so far as a result of the course. Kittokorn Thilarak (Thai Square Wig & Pen) is studying for his Professional Cookery NVQ and says:
The course is very good and we know about doing things better. It helps me to know the techniques and some new words for the kitchen, (Thai Square, Wig & Pen)
