Windsor Group Business Breakfast Event

omarkhanOn Thursday 1st July employers were invited to the College's business breakfast event to launch the Windsor Groups business courses portfolio and for local employers to find out how the extensive training portfolio is able to help their leadership and management skills.

The Windsor Group is a network of highly skilled and experienced learning providers located across the South of England, offering training solutions to multi-site businesses who find it difficult and time-consuming to access professional and cost-effective training programmes. K College (formerly West Kent College and South Kent College) has been a proactive member of The Windsor Group and has been instrumental in delivering this range of dedicated development courses to the market.

Those who attended the event enjoyed a free breakfast in the comfortable surroundings of the brand new College premises in our professional development centre. They also got the opportunity to network with other companies, listen to key speakers from industry and training sectors in the South's active business community, and learn about what leadership and management funding may be available to them.

It was a great opportunity to hear about the merger and what the college/Windsor Group can do with us. Steve Hulse (Guest Speaker, HR and Training Manager, Southern Salads Ltd) was just the chap I needed to meet to inspire me!
Wendy Coxeter, Training Manager, Mack Multiples.
Thank you very much indeed for such a pleasant, informative & interesting meeting yesterday morning - certainly some food for thought for staff development and moving forward in the future
Andrew Penfold, School Marshall, Tonbridge School.

"It was a very positive event in an inspiring new environment. I look forward to helping local businesses gain access to funding to help them progress with the training that is on offer." Kathy De Koningh, Leadership and Management Advisor, Skills Southeast.

"The breakfast event was a great success. It gave local employers the opportunity to discuss what training we can offer, view our fantastic new facilities where training onsite takes place, and to see the facilities that are available to them for hire. Our facilitator workshop also gave them a taster of our training delivery style to professional organisations, which was a fun session and everyone was involved." Leah Buckingham-Warner, K College (formerly West Kent College)
