Apprenticeships are increasingly changing to meet the business environment and continuously developed by the Sector Skills Council for the relevant sector e.g. SEMTA for Engineering, ConstructionSkills for Construction etc.
An Apprenticeship Framework typically consists of:
- A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), which is assessed in the workplace and measures the Apprentices competency at work.
- A Technical Certificate, where the apprentice learns the underpinning skills and knowledge required to fulfil their job role.
- Key Skills for Success, which ensures apprentices learn the right skills to achieve the qualification and develop their skills in the workplace.
Apprenticeship Options
Apprenticeship: This is a Level 2 qualification, broadly equivalent to 5 good GCSE passes.
Advanced Apprenticeship: This is a Level 3 qualification, broadly equivalent to A-Levels.
Apprenticeship Plus: We work with you to design a programme with additional qualifications that are relevant to your business needs.
